Alabama Chosen By ThyssenKrupp
Friday, May 18, 2007
Alabama has been chosen by ThyssenKrupp, a German steel manufacturing company, for it's new $3.7 billion processing plant.
ThyssenKrupp has said this will mean 29,000 jobs during construction, and 2,700 jobs paying an average of $50,000 to $65,000 once the plant is operational in 2010.
Many of these jobs will be in the Montgomery area. New jobs have a positive impact on home sales, property values and the rental market.
